2006 ENA National Scorecard
on State Highway Laws
The Emergency Nurses Association released the 2006 ENA National Scorecard on State Highway Laws, which represents the first ENA outreach effort of its kind designed to reach lawmakers via the public. It aims to advance evidence-based prevention interventions and laws to enable better understanding of acceptable risk, of making smart and informed decisions and of implementing reasonable precautionary measures. It focuses on developing specific state laws to prevent injury and save lives.
National and regional outreach includes a Media E-Kit, which consists of a press release and two fact sheets, a Radio News Release recorded by ENA President Nancy Bonalumi, RN, MS, CEN, and a Radio Media Tour featuring ENA President-Elect Donna Mason, RN, MS, CEN. Visitors to the ENA Web site will find a link on the homepage to the scorecard online pages.
